Life can feel heavy sometimes. Maybe it’s anxiety that never fully shuts off, burnout that makes even simple things feel exhausting, relationships that feel complicated, or emotions that come in too big or too fast. Sometimes it’s the quiet feeling that you’ve somehow fallen behind everyone else. Maybe you’ve spent a long time trying to hold everything together on your own, and you’re exhausted from pretending you’re okay.
You don’t have to do that here.
Human After All Therapy is a space for teens and adults who want therapy that feels genuine, collaborative, and human. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem struggles, identity exploration, relationship stress, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, burnt out, lost, or simply trying to understand yourself better, therapy can be a place to slow down and make sense of things.
My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care, while focusing on what matters most: creating a space where you feel safe enough to actually be yourself. No therapist voice. No judgment. No expectation that you need to have the “right” words before showing up.
Because we’re human, after all.
I believe healing isn’t about becoming a perfect version of yourself. It’s about understanding yourself with more compassion, learning tools that actually fit your life, and building a relationship with yourself that feels a little less heavy. I value authenticity, humor, creativity, and the reminder that people heal best when they feel seen as actual people, not projects to fix.
Human After All Therapy offers private-pay psychotherapy services for teens and adults in Maple Valley, Washington, available in-person and via telehealth.
